Acquire

We target undervalued or underperforming timber, pasture, and mixed-use tracts across South Georgia. We deal directly with landowners, heirs, and institutions — no brokers required unless helpful.

Improve

Within 12 months of acquisition, we identify and execute practical improvement projects: fencing, mulching, road building, reforestation, prescribed fire, and infrastructure. Every project is designed to raise income or reduce long-term cost.

Hold

We are not flippers. We hold land long-term, letting timber grow, reinvesting income back into the property, and managing for sustained annual yield from pine straw, timber, cattle, and leases.

Repeat

Income from existing holdings funds the next acquisition. Each property strengthens the portfolio and the family legacy.

How We Steward the Land

Reinvest Income

A large portion of every dollar the land earns goes back into the property — roads, fencing, reforestation, fire management, building better soil health, wildlife habitat restoration, and improved management practices. The land gets better every year.

Think Long-Term

We plant trees that won't be harvested for 25 years. We build fences meant to last a generation. Short-term thinking has no place in land ownership.

The owner once read about a Native American tribe that, before making any decision, would ask themselves: "How will this affect seven generations from now?" We have taken that mindset into how we operate. If we can think seven generations down the road — which is nearly impossible — surely we will cover our bases for the next generation. The land will be better for it.

Manage Responsibly

Prescribed fire, selective harvest, wildlife habitat — we use proven forestry and land management practices that keep the ecosystem healthy and productive. We follow Best Management Practices (BMPs), Streamside Management Zones (SMZs), and other recognized conservation standards to protect water quality, soil health, and long-term land value.

Degreed forester from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). Mitch owns several small businesses in Southwest Georgia that are vertically integrated with the land holdings — from pine straw and timber to cattle and land improvements. This vertical integration generates stronger returns on each property, which in turn creates more buying power to acquire additional land.
